DMR-T3040 DVD Recorder
The Panasonic DMR-T3040 DVD Recorder is the latest
professional line model from Panasonic. This standalone DVD recorder will
free up your computer and provide excellent quality DVD recordings awesome
results. You won't have to send your DVD orders out to be burned any more.
The 3040
has all kinds of inputs and outputs for every purpose including:
- firewire input
- S-VHS connection
- digital audio connection
- component video out
The Panasonic 3040 has four recording modes:
- XP (High Quality) puts up to one hour on a
dvd-r
- SP (Normal) puts up to two hours on a dvd-r
- LP (Long Play) puts up to four hours on a
dvd-r
- EP (Extra Long Play) puts up to six
hours on a dvd-r
The Panasonic 3040 has a built in 40 gig hard drive
that you use to record your programs and then burn your DVD-R's directly
from the drive inside the deck itself. At SP speed, the 40 gig drive holds
seventeen hours of programs.
Burning is easy- just put in a DVD-R and press the
record button. You can also create chapters for your CD by stopping after
each sequence. When the recording is complete you can title your disc
and each chapter for easy selection.

professional videographer.
